After selling out our workshop in May, calisthenics coach Emma and resident yoga teacher Rosie are combining forces once again to show you the foundations of bodyweight training and yoga, with a focus on female anatomy & physiology.

Are you ready to prioritise your health, reclaim your strength, and unlock your full potential? Come and join us!

WHAT'S IN THE WORKSHOP?

This workshop will cover bodyweight fundamentals and strength building, helping us to better understand our bodies, including:

  • Theory of Women's health: understanding the effects of female body composition, menstrual cycles, and the menopause on your training, and how to use these to your advantage when exercising.
  • Yoga for Women: coaching female specific Yoga training principles that will enhance your practice.
  • Bodyweight strength circuit: a full body workout hitting all the major muscle groups (adaptable depending on your individual fitness levels and needs) and coached by Emma.
  • Calisthenics skills: have a play on the gymnastic rings, try a few Cali basics, and learn some functional movements to keep your body moving optimally, and help to reduce the likelihood of injury.

WHO IS IT AIMED AT?

All women, non-binary, and marginalised genders who are interested in bodyweight strength training in a welcoming environment.

This workshop is aimed at beginners and intermediates, so you can join us no matter what your fitness background!

Please note, however, that some of the session content will discuss female anatomy & physiology and how this influences our training. Whilst we appreciate this may not be relevant to all participants, we want to make sure these underdiscussed and underutilised aspects of women's health are covered in this workshop.

WHAT TO BRING

Just yourself, a water bottle, and comfortable unrestrictive clothing. We'll provide the rest!
