Service Description

WHAT THE RUCK? Rucking is a form of exercise that involves walking or hiking with a weighted backpack (we're not strict on this if you just fancy a walk). Our ruck is a group hike (fairly brisk) on the local hills and trails. WHY THE RUCK? Rucking is great for cardiovascular fitness, low-impact strength, and getting outdoors in nature with a good group of people! WHERE ARE WE RUCKING OFF TO? Each week we take one of the trails up either Wolstonbury or Newtimber hill (we base the route on the group strength and a team decision). WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED? The terrain will be very steep, and sometimes muddy so please bring appropriate footwear. Bring a bottle of water, appropriate clothing for the weather, and a mobile phone.
