WHAT'S IN THE CLASS? STRENGTH is a mixed-ability bodyweight strength & mobility class, focussed on developing a powerful & stable lower body & mid-section, with strong & mobile surrounding muscles & connective tissue (ideal for bodyweight disciplines such as Calisthenics, Gymnastics, Climbing etc, and highly transferable to sports in general). It's essentially a strength & mobility class, coached from the mat, with a fusion of calisthenics & functional bodyweight training. SINGLE LEG STRENGTH: Developing the strength, mobility, and balance required to perform more advanced calisthenics skills such as Pistol Squat & Dragon Squat, alongside more functional lower body exercises such as split squats and single-leg deadlifts. CORE TRAINING: Building deep abdominal strength, with animal-like functional movement patterns (crawls & animal flow style shapes), and isometric training for your abdomen (advanced planks & stability positions). BALANCE DRILLS: Playful & powerful balance drills to test your balance & train your nervous system to balance & move better. SKILLS REQUIRED: None. Most exercises can be regressed and adapted to suit STRENGTH PRE-REQUISITES None required, however this isn't an entry-level core training class...please be prepared to plank (sometimes on one arm or elbow), lay on your tummy, roll around a bit, push your mobility, and challenge your balance. DANGER LEVEL: None. This is a mat based class, occasionally using paralettes & P-bars.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule just pop onto the booking app (under MY BOOKINGS). You can reschedule your session up to 12 hours before your session starts (you won't lose your class credit). Cancellations within 24h cannot be refunded.
