CALI: Core is a floor & core strength & mobility class, delivered in our Yoga studio in a mat based Calisthenics & bodyweight session! It's covering all the middle bits we don't focus on enough in our conditioning class, mobility, core compression & strength, and hand balance. SKILL LEVEL: Suitable for beginners and intermediates. All exercises can be adapted or regressed to suit your abilities. WHAT WE UP TO IN THE CLASS? Working on developing a mobile and solid core for Calisthenics and bodyweight strength! MOBILITY: Working the mobility needed to train Calisthenics; lengthening the hamstrings & strengthening the hip flexors for those L-sits, opening the hips for straddle, ABDOMINAL & DEEP HIP STRENGTH: Helping you build compression, hollow body development, and strengthening everything in the middle needed to stabilize that body during your skills! HAND-BALANCE & INVERSIONS Occasionally we'll mess around with cool hand-balance drills & inversions (mostly wall-supported unless you're already advanced), and strengthen the inverted skills!
