Hi I'm Rich, and I run Sapien Training.

My career background is in PT and Exercise Rehab, and away from that I'm a climber & calisthenics monkey (and founder of the Sapien Training community).

My training ethos is heavily influenced by our ancient movement patterns (physically speaking, I believe we're evolving in the wrong direction).

I believe that by practicing our movement and connecting with our inner homo-sapien, we can restore our innate levels of movement and physical resilience.

Here at Sapien Training I coach Boxing, Calisthenics, Strength & Conditioning, and also deliver 1:1 and small group coaching.

  • BSc (Hons) Sport, Health and Physical Education (Exercise Physiology; Kinesiology & Biomechanics; Exercise Rehabilitation; Sports Nutrition; Coaching)
  • CIMPSA Registered Level 3 Personal Trainer
  • BTEC National Diploma; Community Sports Leader Award; Basic Expedition Leader Award; Climbing Wall Instructor
  • Several industry specific qualifications (Boxing Coaching, Kettlebell & Suspension Training, Exercise with Children/Older Adults, Indoor Cycling)

Hi I'm Rosie, resident Yoga instructor at Sapien Training.

I'm a dancer, yogi, and exercise instructor from Brighton now living in the beautiful South Downs!

Behind every successful man lies a strong but overworked woman and thats me. I help coordinate the creative cacophony that is my partner, Rich.

My ethos is to make people happy first, and strong will naturally follow second. I want to introduce the life changing benefits of Yoga to anyone who's receptive to its power. Yoga and dance have changed my life and i LOVE seeing it change my clients lives too.
