SINCE THE DAWN OF MAN OUR SURVIVAL AND OUR PHYSICAL MOVEMENT HAVE BEEN INTERTWINED.

 

WE OWE OUR SUCCESS ON THIS EARTH IN PART TO OUR ABILITY TO RUN, FIGHT, CLIMB, SWIM, HUNT, FARM, AND PHYSICALLY ADAPT TO OUR SURROUNDINGS.

OUR MODERN SURROUNDINGS HAVE RESTRICTED OUR MOVEMENT.

MOVEMENT HAS DEVOLVED FROM FULL BODY FUNCTIONAL MULTIPLANAR MOVEMENT, INTO  A LABORIOUS CHOREOGRAPHED CHORE TO COUNTERACT OUR SEDENTARY LIFESTYLE.

MOVEMENT IN 2020

MODERN MOVEMENT HAS BECOME A LABORIOUS CHORE TO COUNTERACT OUR SEDENTARY LIFESTYLE.

WE SIT IN CHAIRS, ALLOW MACHINES TO MOVE FOR US, AND LIMIT OUR PHYSICALITY TO JUST ONE HOUR OF CHOREOGRAPHED MOVEMENT IN A GYM OR IN FRONT OF A SCREEN.

THE FITNESS INDUSTRY HAVE APPOINTED THEMSELVES AS REGULATORS OF HUMAN MOVEMENT, AND LIMITED OUR​ MOVEMENT POTENTIAL TO BASIC, ISOLATED, REPETITIVE ACTIONS. 

HUMANS CAN DO FAR MORE THAN THE FITNESS INDUSTRY TEACHES US. WE CAN DO MORE THAN SIMPLY SQUAT DOWN, PUSH UP, CURL, REPEAT...
