CALI 24: Handstand Workshop

WHAT'S IN THE WORKSHOP

This workshop focusses on coaching everyone's favourite party trick, the Handstand! 

Suitable for beginner-intermediate and anyone who isn't yet above a 20s balanced Handstand.

This incredibly skilled balance move can take years of practice, and opens up a world of inverted training and fun you won't get in any other training discipline.

• Mobility drills
• Wall positioning and entry drills
• Straightening the line (getting the perfect shape for your handstand)
• Partner work & how to spot correctly

DO I NEED TO BE EXPERIENCED IN CALISTHENICS TO ATTEND?

This is a beginner- intermediate workshop, and the rough strength recommendations are below;

• 5-10 Press Ups
• Able to kick up to a wall handstand (or close to...)
• No limiting shoulder injuries
• No problem with going upside down

If you're already an intermediate then this workshop is a great chance to practice your technique and get a spotter for your free stands. But if you can already hold a 20s+ straight handstand then this probably isn't the workshop for you, keep an eye out for our advanced handstand workshop!
